The finished product installed is excellent in looks and the way they work. I would have liked the option to have the C channel that holds the glass to be finished. The installation was very challenging, the brackets and threaded studs never lined up and could not be used. I had to make a bracket to get the doors installed. Do you have touch up paint available for a small spot?

I recently purchased and installed the Brookfield Masonry Fireplace Glass Door with trackless bifold doors, cabinet mesh doors, and draft control in the matte black finish for my Rumford fireplace. It's well constructed and fit perfectly into the fireplace opening (inside mount). If I were to order another I would subtract a 1/4" from the height and width and add a high temp felt gasket all the way around to account for variation in the brick. The aluminum frame is solid but the finish was thin around the door edges and scratched easily. Not a big deal, but the addition of a color matching touch up kit would have been useful. The trackless bifold doors open smoothly and the mesh doors are worth the additional expense. The installation was straightforward, thanks to the detailed instructions and adjustable brackets.
Ultimately, I choose this particular door based on the reviews and I was not disappointed.

I love the customer service I experienced with James and his team. I had no clue on how to measure to get the right size for all my 4 fire places, but he was there to walk me through every step of the way.

My ancient fireplace is no longer made so I had to have custom doors made-I wasn't supe thrilled about that.
Exceptional Fire lives up to their name-in fact, I don't think the name sings their praises enough.
The process was super simple and Robert was so helpful (I am the QUEEN of stupid questions-he even took the time to answer my questions about replacing the existing burner with an H burner so I can switch to using fire glass). He went through the various options and I sent my measurements. Daniel sent me the mockups and I made my selection. From there it was just the waiting game-and I didn't have to wait long!
I love my new doors and I cannot wait to use my fireplace!

The ordering process couldn’t easier. I spoke with Daniel at ExceptionalFire over the phone. I sent the measurements and some pictures of my fireplace, within a short time he sent his recommendation on what fireplace doors would work best. This replaced a 10+ year old crappy bronze looking fireplace cover/doors. I LOVE that i no longer have to deal with a pull chain mesh system and I now have metal mesh doors to keep all the sparks inside the fireplace. This thing is pretty heavy, installation took maybe 20-25 minutes by myself.
