Overview

The Prism Hardscapes Fuego is the statement piece of the concrete fire table world — an 89-inch, hand-finished centerpiece that anchors an entire outdoor living space. Each one is cast in glass-fiber reinforced concrete and finished with Prism's custom patina process, so no two tables are exactly alike.

Why we carry it: when a project calls for one unforgettable focal point, this is the table we specify. The 41-inch burning area reads like a private bonfire, and the craftsmanship holds up to close inspection — which, at this scale, it will get.

Please note: the Fuego is offered in natural gas only, ships in approximately 4–6 weeks, and is not approved for use in the state of Massachusetts.

Sizing & Placement

At 89 inches across and 1,050 lbs, the Fuego suits generous patios — as a rule of thumb, an area at least 16–18 feet across lets the table breathe with full seating around it. Crane or equipment placement is worth discussing before delivery; our team coordinates white-glove options.

Plan roughly 5–7 feet of open circulation space around the table so seating and walkways stay comfortable, and always confirm clearances to structures and combustibles in the manufacturer's manual and your local code before the gas line is run. If you are working with a contractor, send them the spec table above — it has everything they need.

Configuration Options

Customize your Fuego with these options:

  • Ignition: Match Lit, Electronic
  • Finish: Natural, Pewter, Ebony, Cafe, Ultra White, Coastal

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does the Fuego run on propane? No — this model is natural gas only, so plan a dedicated gas line with your installer.
  • What is the difference between match lit and electronic ignition? Match lit is the simple, reliable classic — open the valve and light. Electronic ignition starts the flame at the push of a button or switch and can integrate with home automation; it adds cost but most clients consider it worth it on a centerpiece table.
  • Can it stay outside year-round? Yes — the materials are outdoor-rated. We still recommend a fitted cover in the off-season to keep the burner and media clean and extend the life of the finish.
  • Why do finishes vary slightly between photos and delivery? Every Fuego is hand-finished with Prism's patina process; subtle variation is intentional and part of what makes each table one of a kind.

FAQ · What buyers ask

Frequently asked questions

Wood, gas, or propane — which fire pit is right for me?

Wood-burning fire pits give the most authentic crackle and smoke smell — but require seasoned firewood and produce ash. Natural gas fire pits run from a fixed gas line for unlimited burn time, instant on/off, no ash — require a gas plumber for install. Propane (LP) fire pits use a refillable tank, fully portable, also instant on/off — tank lasts roughly 8–14 hours on average use.

Where can I install a fire pit?

Most fire pits are designed for outdoor use only — on a non-combustible surface (stone patio, concrete, gravel, or fire-rated paver). Maintain at least 10 feet of clearance from buildings, fences, overhangs, and combustible vegetation. Check local fire ordinances; some HOAs and municipalities restrict open flame outdoors. Never use indoors — CO and combustion byproducts make this unsafe.

Can I use a fire pit on my wood deck?

Only with a fire-rated heat shield mat underneath and a unit specifically rated for deck use. Many wood-burning pits should not be used on wood decks at all due to ember escape risk. Gas and propane pits with sealed bottoms and proper heat shields are safer for decks — but always check the manufacturer's clearance requirements and your local code.

How long does a propane tank last?

A standard 20 lb propane tank typically powers a fire pit for 8–14 hours at full output, depending on the BTU rating of the burner. At lower flame settings, you can stretch this to 16+ hours. To extend tank life: lower the flame, use a wind guard to reduce gas waste, and turn off when not actively in use.

Free shipping and warranty?
