L-Shape & Multi-Sided
Fireplace Doors

Corner and multi-sided fireplaces require doors built specifically for your opening — welded mitered frames, hand-cut tempered glass, hardware that clears the geometry. This isn’t off-the-shelf. It’s craftsmanship.

Why You’re Here

Rectangular Doors Are Easy.
L-Shape Isn’t.

A standard rectangular fireplace door is straightforward — fixed sizes, ready to ship, you can buy it online today from any reputable retailer.

L-shape, corner, and multi-sided openings are a different story. Each one is structurally unique — the frame wraps around 2 or 3 sides, glass must be cut to your specific geometry, and a sub-1/16” misalignment causes the door to bind.

That’s why every order requires a specialist’s eyes on your photos before we quote. No assembly line. No guesswork. No "hope it fits."

Geometry the Factory Can’t Solve

L-shape and multi-sided openings need welded mitered frames wrapping 2–3 sides. There’s no SKU for "your specific corner" — only a craftsperson can build to it.

Specialist Review Before You Order

A senior craftsperson reviews your photos, identifies hidden complications (uneven brick, irregular trim, hidden depth), and gives you a real number — before any commitment. Free.

Built Right the First Time

Hand-cut tempered glass, welded mitered frames, hardware that clears the corner. When it arrives, it drops in cleanly — no field modifications, no returns, no surprises.

What Our L-Shape Customers Say

“Three other places told me my corner opening was ‘too unusual’ to quote. Daniel sent a quote in 36 hours with a render that looked exactly like the finished door. Welds are invisible.”

Michael T. Park City, UT L-Shape Corner · 48” × 32”

“The free render saved us. We were going to pick textured black, but the visualization showed it would clash with our limestone. Switched to bronze patina — perfect.”

Sarah & James K. Asheville, NC 3-Side Peninsula · 60” × 36”

“Five-week build, fully insured shipping, and the installer said it dropped in cleaner than any custom door he’s installed. Worth every penny over a stock door that wouldn’t have fit.”

Common Questions

Before You Reach Out

Standard rectangular doors come in fixed sizes with off-the-shelf hardware. L-shape and corner openings have unique geometry — the frame must wrap around two or three sides with welded mitered joints, and each glass panel is cut to your specific dimensions. A sub-1/16” misalignment causes the door to bind. We need a specialist’s eyes on your photos to ensure the build will fit perfectly the first time.
Typically 6–8 weeks total. Free review (1–2 days) → quote (48 hours) → you approve → build (5–6 weeks) → delivery via insured freight. Need it faster? Mention your deadline in the quote request — we can sometimes prioritize for an additional fee.
At minimum: (1) front view of the entire fireplace, (2) close-up of the opening edges, (3) one angle showing the depth of the firebox. Include a tape measure or ruler in at least one shot for scale. If your opening has unusual features — existing brick mantel, beveled edges, irregular trim — a short video helps. Don’t worry about precise dimensions yet; we’ll guide you through measuring after review.
We use mitered welded corners that, once finished, are nearly invisible from across the room. On extremely close inspection you’ll see a hairline join — that’s the mark of hand-fabricated craftsmanship, not a flaw. Glass panels meet at a tight 90° with a thin black silicone bead.
The estimator is calibrated against our last 200 custom builds and lands within ±15% of the final quote in most cases. The variance comes from finish complexity (powdercoat vs hand-rubbed bronze patina), glass type (clear tempered vs ceramic), and edge cases like brick-cut openings or non-standard hinge orientations. The free specialist quote nails it down precisely.
Yes — we ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada with calculated freight added to your quote. International orders (Mexico, UK, EU) are case-by-case — reach out and we’ll see what we can do.
6-year limited warranty on frame & weld integrity. Glass and finish carry the manufacturer’s warranty (typically 1–3 years). Full warranty terms are sent with every quote.
