Buying guide
Bring the texture of a rustic beam to your fireplace with a cast concrete mantel. Lexington Hearth’s Burncrete designs preserve the grain, knots and saw marks of the original molds, with hand-painted finishes that give each piece its character.
Start with the profile
Compare the depth and height of each style, then choose from its available lengths and finishes. Lexington profiles are set by the mold; custom width and finish options depend on the model.
Make room for the right fit
Check the product dimensions, weight and mounting instructions before ordering. Follow both the fireplace and mantel installation requirements, including clearances.

Good to know
Questions people ask before they order
What are these concrete mantels made from?
The material depends on the manufacturer. Lexington Hearth uses Burncrete, a non-combustible casting material that recreates wood and stone textures. See each product’s details for its material and finish.
How heavy is a concrete mantel?
Weight varies with the style and length. Compare the product specifications and mounting guide when planning wall support and handling. Lexington shelves use a hollow construction to reduce weight.
How close can it sit to the fireplace?
Use the clearance instructions for both your fireplace and the mantel. The required position depends on the appliance and installation; there is no single distance for every concrete shelf.
Which finishes are available?
Lexington’s wood-inspired mantels come in hand-painted finishes, with separate colors for its stone designs. Explore the choices on each product page and order samples to see them in your room.
Can I choose a custom size?
Lexington offers custom lengths within its existing styles. The mold determines height, depth and shape. Choose a profile you love, then select an available width or ask us about your project.
How do I care for the finish?
For Lexington mantels, use a soft microfiber cloth and a household cleaner, without abrasive pads or scrubbing. Follow the care guidance supplied with your mantel; do not add a sealer unless its manufacturer recommends it.
