Laguna Wood Grain Fire Pit Table | The Outdoor Plus
Overview
The Outdoor Plus Laguna Fire Table pairs the warmth of wood-grain texture with the permanence of glass-fiber reinforced concrete — a 10- or 12-foot statement table in Ebony, Oak, or Ivory that brings a natural, organic feel to a thoroughly modern outdoor room.
Why we carry it: clients ask for "wood, but outdoors, but gas" more than any other combination. The Laguna is the answer — the texture of timber with none of its weathering, at a scale that anchors a full lounge arrangement.

Sizing & Placement
The Laguna comes in 120″ × 60″ and 144″ × 60″ footprints at counter-friendly 42″ height — measure your patio with the larger dimension plus seating in mind; a 12-foot table genuinely owns the space it sits in.
Plan roughly 5–7 feet of open circulation space around the table so seating and walkways stay comfortable, and always confirm clearances to structures and combustibles in the manufacturer's manual and your local code before the gas line is run. If you are working with a contractor, send them the spec table above — it has everything they need.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Natural gas or propane — which should I choose? Natural gas requires a fixed gas line run by a licensed installer, but never runs out mid-evening and costs less to operate. Propane works with a standard tank and needs no trenching — the right call when the table sits away from the house.
- Match lit, flame sensing, or electronic ignition? Match lit is simplest; flame sensing adds an automatic safety shutoff if the flame goes out; electronic gives push-button start. For a table this size most clients choose flame sensing or electronic.
- Fire glass or lava rock? Lava rock gives a natural, mineral look and disperses flame softly; fire glass reflects the flame for a brighter, more jewel-like presentation. Both are heat-rated — this is purely an aesthetic choice.
- Can it stay outside year-round? Yes — the materials are outdoor-rated. We still recommend a fitted cover in the off-season to keep the burner and media clean and extend the life of the finish.

What Our Customers Say
Frequently asked questions
Wood, gas, or propane — which fire pit is right for me?
Wood-burning fire pits give the most authentic crackle and smoke smell — but require seasoned firewood and produce ash. Natural gas fire pits run from a fixed gas line for unlimited burn time, instant on/off, no ash — require a gas plumber for install. Propane (LP) fire pits use a refillable tank, fully portable, also instant on/off — tank lasts roughly 8–14 hours on average use.
Where can I install a fire pit?
Most fire pits are designed for outdoor use only — on a non-combustible surface (stone patio, concrete, gravel, or fire-rated paver). Maintain at least 10 feet of clearance from buildings, fences, overhangs, and combustible vegetation. Check local fire ordinances; some HOAs and municipalities restrict open flame outdoors. Never use indoors — CO and combustion byproducts make this unsafe.
Can I use a fire pit on my wood deck?
Only with a fire-rated heat shield mat underneath and a unit specifically rated for deck use. Many wood-burning pits should not be used on wood decks at all due to ember escape risk. Gas and propane pits with sealed bottoms and proper heat shields are safer for decks — but always check the manufacturer's clearance requirements and your local code.
How long does a propane tank last?
A standard 20 lb propane tank typically powers a fire pit for 8–14 hours at full output, depending on the BTU rating of the burner. At lower flame settings, you can stretch this to 16+ hours. To extend tank life: lower the flame, use a wind guard to reduce gas waste, and turn off when not actively in use.
Free shipping and warranty?
