Modern Flames Nova Clear 48" See-Through Virtual Electric Fireplace

The Modern Flames Nova Clear is a see-through electric fireplace built around laser projection and a patented transparent optical film. The film keeps more than 80% transparency, so the flames read from both sides while the rooms stay visually connected — an effect that until now belonged to gas see-through fireplaces, without any venting.

Flames are generated by the next generation of the Modern Flames virtual flame system: three flame styles and multiple flame colors, viewed from either side. The log set is crafted from real split wood and sits over an active ember bed, so the fire has depth rather than a flat projected image.

When the fire is off, Nova Clear becomes a transparent media display for a compatible streaming device, with integrated Dolby Audio and Normal, Starry Night and Stormy Night sound modes plus Bluetooth music streaming. Heat comes from an advanced ceramic PTC system with dual-zone control, rated 4,100 BTU on 120V and 8,200 BTU on 240V (410–820 sq ft), and the fireplace can run with the heat off for year-round ambiance.
