Dimplex Revillusion 30" Built-In Electric Firebox (next-gen REV) - Model REV30

The Dimplex 30" Revillusion (REV30) gives you the shape and presence of a traditional fireplace without a chimney, a gas line or a permit. The firebox measures 31-1/8 x 26-1/2 x 12-1/8 in and sets into a framed opening of 30-5/8 x 26-1/4 x 12-1/2 in. Nothing is vented.

Choose your backer

This is the decision that changes the room. The backer is the panel you see behind the logs — all four cost the same, and nothing else about the fireplace changes with it.

• Black — a solid black backer that lets the flame dominate — the most contemporary of the four.
• Herringbone — a laid herringbone brick pattern; the most traditional look in the range.
• Neutral Brick — soft brick that reads as original masonry. Worth knowing: it reads gray in the room — Dimplex's own owner's manual calls this finish "Grey Brick".
• Weathered Concrete — muted gray concrete for a minimal, modern surround.

What Dimplex builds into it

• Revillusion flame effect with Optiflame technology, 4 flame speeds, and flame base color adjustable from red to orange.
• Realogs — logs handcrafted from real wood, with LEDs inside them so they glow the way embers do rather than being lit from below.
• A translucent acrylic reflective panel that kills reflections and lets flames appear from within the logs.
• A 270-degree firebox surround.
• Steel sheathed heater, rated to 1,000 sq. ft. — 1300 / 1975 / 2575 W / 4400 / 6745 / 8794 BTU at 120 / 208 / 240 V.
• Hardwire (a 120 V plug kit is included in the box). A dedicated, properly fused 15 A circuit is recommended.
• Flame-only mode draws just 40 W, so it runs all year. There is also a heater-only mode and Eco Boost.
• Mood-maker remote, hidden-touch controls, LED display, timer and an ambient light sensor.
• In the box: firebox, front glass, glass trim, tumbled glass embers, plug kit, remote and the manual.

Before you frame

Rough opening 30-5/8 x 26-1/4 x 12-1/2 in. For a corner installation allow front 54-1/4 in, left 38-1/2 in, right 38-1/2 in. These come from the Dimplex technical specification for this exact size — open it under Manufacturer Documents and build to that drawing, not to the product dimensions.

Listed to UL 2021 / CSA C22.2 No. 46 (UL file E71416). Warranty: 2 years on the firebox, 1 year on surrounds and trims.
