Smithline Arch Conversion is a custom-made arched fireplace door built from 7-gauge steel bar stock with the 4-inch hand-forged blacksmith profile from the standard Smithline, plus a radius-bent steel arch above the flat masonry lintel — converting a rectangular opening into a traditional arched facade without masonry rework. Powder coat applied after the weld so the curve reads as one stroke. Free Template Kit included. Lead time: 3–5 Weeks after Expert Fit Review.
Options & Features
- Hand-forged blacksmith profile — same 7-gauge bar stock and welder-finished corners as the standard Smithline, now arched
- Radius-bent steel arch above the flat masonry lintel — frame reads continuous, but the arch sits above the original opening so installation does not require masonry rework
- Powder coat applied after the weld so the curve reads as one continuous stroke, not jointed
- Free Template Kit — cardboard template shipped, traced over the opening, and returned so the arch is built to the exact curve
- 4-inch standard frame width · 2½-inch and 3-inch widths available
- 1/2-inch standard overlap per side · 3/16-inch frame depth
- 23 powder-coat finishes — 11 standard at no charge; 12 premium (+$395)
- Cabinet or Bifold (+$135) door style with Hampton strap or forged-knob handles
- Tempered safety glass — Clear, Grey tint, or Bronze tint; mesh replacement included
- Built for flat-lintel masonry only — prefab metal fireboxes cannot accept arch conversion
- Arch Conversion ($465) included · optional Integrated Hood (+$205) and Frame Returns (+$135)
- Made in USA with free freight to the contiguous 48 states
- Custom-made — no returns; Expert Fit Review confirms accuracy before production
- Limited lifetime frame warranty
