Stoll Outdoor Kitchen Island — Palmetto 98″

The Abbeville Collection — four outdoor kitchen islands from ExceptionalFire and Stoll Industries, welded to order in Abbeville, South Carolina, where Stoll has been building since 1969. The Palmetto is the 98″ model.

The Palmetto is a 98″ outdoor kitchen island with a fully welded aluminum cabinet, made to order by Stoll Industries in Abbeville, South Carolina. It is the size most people land on: enough counter to work either side of the grill without the island dominating the yard. You design it here — grill, storage, end cabinets and finish — and it is welded to that specification rather than assembled from stock parts.

What is included

The base price covers the welded aluminum cabinet with its doors and drawer fronts, a 2″ aluminum countertop, and your choice of finish across the frame, the fronts and the worktop. Crating and freight to your address are included. The grill and any refrigeration are chosen and priced separately, because nobody buys an island and then accepts whichever grill came with it.

Design it in the Island Studio

The studio on this page builds the island in 3D as you choose. Work through it in four passes:

• Grill — built-in models from Alfresco, American Made Grills, American Outdoor Grill, Coyote, Fire Magic, Napoleon, Primo, Summerset, TrueFlame and WildFire. If you already own a grill, or want one not listed, choose Custom Grill Option and a specialist confirms the cut-out with you after the order.
• Storage — a refrigerator, an access door with an interior shelf, a trash-can pull-out or triple drawers in the cabinet sections.
• Ends — add-on cabinets or a grill base to either end, which extend the footprint beyond the 98″ base.
• Finish — 13 outdoor-rated powder-coat finishes, applied independently to the frame, the door and drawer fronts, and the worktop.

The price updates as you build, so the number on screen is the price of the island in front of you.

Size and layout

The Palmetto is 98″ wide and 30″ deep, with the counter at 36.5″ — standard kitchen working height. Four cabinet sections. The grill cabinet spans two of them, which leaves one section for a refrigerator and one for a trash-can pull-out or triple drawers, with usable counter on both sides of the grill. Add-on end cabinets extend the footprint past 98″; the studio redraws the plan and the dimensions as you add them.

Delivery and lead time

Every island is built to order in South Carolina and ships in 20–30 business days. Crating and freight are included in the price. Shop Pay Installments are available at checkout on eligible orders.

Before anything is welded

A specialist reviews every drawing before it goes to the shop, and runs a Grill Fit Check against the cut-out dimensions of the grill you chose. If the grill does not fit the opening, you hear about it then — not when a welded island arrives on a pallet.

Take three measurements before ordering: width, height, and depth of your fireplace opening (or the surface where this product will be installed).

Always measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. Take each dimension twice and use the smaller number — fireplaces aren't always square.
