How to size & measure your fireplace

Record your firebox front width, rear width, depth, and height before ordering. Compare all four measurements with the minimum fireplace dimensions for the selected burner and controls. Because this is a vented set, your fireplace needs a functioning chimney and an operable damper.

What does ANSI-certified mean here? The burner system ships pre-assembled and safety-tested with its control valve and regulator, so installation is faster and simpler.

Vented vs ventless? This is vented, giving you a tall, realistic flame with the trade-off of needing an open chimney.

Which gas type? Both Natural Gas and Propane are available; select your fuel when ordering.

Can the gas line enter from the left? The kit connects on the right by default but accepts a left-hand inlet with a flex line.

Real Fyre manufacturer warranty. Indoor refractory logs have lifetime coverage for the original owner; indoor fiber-ceramic blend logs have 5 years. Indoor burners are covered for 10 years, excluding controls.

Vented SPK-26 controls have 3 years and APK-17 controls have 2 years. Other valves, pilots and controls have 1 year, excluding batteries. Outdoor logs have 3 years and outdoor stainless-steel burners have 5 years.

Coverage requires proof of purchase, qualified installation and use under the manual’s conditions. Labor is excluded unless a separate written program applies. Read the vented warranty or vent-free warranty for the components you choose.
